My husband and I recently agreed to rent a home that my in-laws own. We were there for two weeks before we left to go on a one month long vacation. My mother-in-law said that she’d drop by to do a bit of tidying up, which I didn’t mind, but I thought that was the extent of it. When we arrived home, my kitchen was rearranged, all of our clothes had been washed and folded for us (neither of which were that much of a problem, and she probably went to a great effort), but she said that she had taken my jewelry and my daughter’s jewelry to her house for safe keeping. My jewelry was hidden in my underwear drawer, and my daughter’s was in her drawer (she’s 13 months old, so she doesn’t have much, but they did give her a very expensive set of bangles). Granted, she and my fil did provide most of the jewelry, but I think it’s excessive to go through someone’s drawers and take their things. She said that she didn’t feel it was a safe enough place to keep jewelry. I’ve gotten all of it back (I was never concerned about her keeping it- they’ve got all the money and jewelry in the world), but I really feel like my privacy was violated. My husband thinks I’m overreacting- am I?

How to make a bracelet out of yarn! I am using size 13 needles and I haven’t knit in years! I decided to dust off the needles this week!
